Sometimes, when can’t make the kind of work you strive for, you need an extra creative outlet. For the last few years, mine also happens to be…work.

I’m on a team that runs the shitpostiest social of any agency in the world. (I think. Please don’t fact check that.)

Manifestoff 2023

We hosted the ULTIMATE (read: only) copywriting competition. Contestants faced off in a single-elimination bracket
where they were given a prompt and 3 minutes to write a manifesto and perform it for the audience. Contestants wrote heartfelt
manifestos for things like “Heelies for Horses” and “Google Maps for Flat Earthers” until we ultimately crowned a champion.

We launched Manifestoff™ with a manifesto about manifestos (more like Mojo MetaMarket amirite),
sorted through over 100 applicants and threw a fun party where our CD’s wife had to go buy more beer.

POPEYES CHICKEN SANDWICH KIDNAPPING

We heard Popeyes was looking for a new agency and were like “damn we do love Popeyes”.
So we got them to notice us the only way we logically could: we took one of their sandwiches hostage.
The trades wrote about it, the clients noticed and we…didn’t get the business.

Posts & memes

There is literally nothing better than pausing whatever you’re doing for 20 minutes to laugh with a few of your friends/coworkers.
Okay fine I oversold it a bit, there are a few better things. But it’s still really fun and I’m just glad they let us spice up the timeline on occasion.
